Welcome to the Montcalm County Panhandle Area Chamber of Commerce. The Panhandle Chamber service area includes four townships in the northwest 'Panhandle' area of Montcalm County. The four townships Maple Valley, Pierson, Reynolds and Winfield are home to over 10,000 residents and many businesses. The business climate in the Panhandle is diverse. Many established businesses provide evidence that you can enjoy a great lifestyle and be a successful business operator at the same time. The tax-free Renaissance Zone in Pierson and Reynolds Township is a great opportunity for new and established businesses to locate in the Panhandle area. The area is served mainly by the Tri-County School system, which serves over 2300 students and has an active academic and sports programs. Some students in the townships go to Lakeview Community, Newaygo Public, Morley-Stanwood Community Schools and Cowden Lake Bible Academy. Montcalm Community College, Ferris State University and Grand Valley State University service higher education in the area.
